Late Autumn in Appalachia

There's a brief pause between the deep reds and oranges of Autumn and the flurry of peppermint and snowflakes of Christmas -- and this necklace reminds me of that pause -- it's a pause for harvest and preparation, of slowing down to notice the colors in the sky in the morning and evening -- it's a season of rich golds and brass just before year's end --

these jasper slap beads are a perfect blend of late autumn's color palette. The pendant is approximately 4" long from the top of the brass arch to the longest jasper bead. The pendant hangs from a rich brown leather cord that is approximately 18" long.
